The ozone-in-water cleaning and disinfection systems patented and distributed by the Catalan company Servipro 2.0 – Ecofrog are used in Michelin-starred restaurants such as Cocina Hermanos Torres and ABaC by Jordi Cruz.
Ecofrog will present the various ozone-in-water cleaning and disinfection systems designed for the hospitality sector at the Hygienalia Trade Fair — the professional cleaning and hygiene fair held in November in Madrid.
Ecofrog’s latest patented system generates ozone in water and is integrated into industrial dishwashers so that they no longer need to use soap to clean dishes. Ozone in water eliminates odors since it disappears after washing, helping to prevent chemical residue stains. Its oxidizing composition dissolves and breaks down dirt, germs, and antibacterial agents.
The Ecofrog system produces an electric discharge that transforms oxygen into ozone. For the first time, this technology has been adapted to industrial dishwashers, eliminating the need for soap. This means the dishes are clean and free from chemical residues. In addition, this system supports environmental responsibility by eliminating the use of single-use plastic containers. Establishments also benefit from convenience and cost savings, as they no longer need to purchase dishwasher soap for a long period.
Ecofrog systems have been used in the Horeca sector for over seven years, but until now, they were applied to surface cleaning such as floors, hoods, or tables in establishments. At the Hygienalia Fair, Ecofrog will present the latest application of ozone in water for industrial dishwashers — a unique system in Spain brought to the market by Ecofrog-Servipro 2.0.
