The leading professional trade fair in the cleaning, professional hygiene and laundry sector will address the challenges of how to apply AI in the execution of cleaning services or the use of new technologies in food safety.
Hygienalia, organized by Feria Valencia, will be held from November 4 to 6 in Hall 3 of Ifema Madrid.
València, 25 september 2025.- Hygienalia, the leading trade fair in the cleaning, professional hygiene and laundry sector, announces the contents of its conference program for the upcoming edition, to be held from November 4 to 6. Over three days, experts, associations and companies will share knowledge and experiences on the main challenges and opportunities in the sector.
On Tuesday, November 4, the agenda will open with activities organized by AFELIN and ISSA, in addition to keynote speeches such as that of Adriana Martín, Project Manager at IGM Management, who will present digital management software for Facility Services specifically developed by and for sector professionals.
There will also be a presentation by Carmen Donet, SHI PH Project Manager at Christeyns, who will introduce the new professional hygiene standard, an approach that goes beyond visual cleaning by incorporating microbiological control into a comprehensive system capable of identifying invisible risks, ensuring safe environments and optimizing costs.
How to apply Artificial Intelligence in the sector
On Wednesday, November 5, midway through the trade fair, the focus will be on technological innovation and people management. In the morning, the conference “Smart Cleaning: real applications of Artificial Intelligence in the professional sector”, organized by Impacta and the magazine Empresa & Limpieza, will show how AI is already transforming the planning, execution and control of cleaning services through automation, autonomous cleaning, resource optimization, quality control and customer service.
In the afternoon, Anna Baguena Sánchez, CEO of Vaj Business Partner and President of Asniclean, will speak about the culture of care and well-being (CUI2) as a response to the challenge of absenteeism in the sector, highlighting the importance of promoting equity, commitment and employee recognition.
The day will conclude with a conference by Inmaculada Marcos, Director of the Food Division at Vijusa, who will explain how the application of new technologies, such as the Doser Food Connect system, improves food safety through real-time monitoring of cleaning and disinfection processes.
Sustainability and environmental regulations
On Thursday, November 6, the program will close with activities organized by Quimeltia and ISSA, and with a particularly relevant presentation on sustainability and environmental regulations. Thus, Enrique Pla Embuena, Partner at ATQ Quimyser and General Manager of the SCRAP Punto Greta, together with Mar Berlanga Belda, Waste Technician of the same entity, will analyze the challenges posed by the new packaging and packaging waste regulations, including Royal Decree 1055/2022 and Law 7/2022, and present practical solutions for companies to efficiently adapt to the new legal requirements.
Knowledge forum and business updates
With this agenda, Hygienalia reaffirms its commitment as a meeting and training space, where the trade exhibition is combined with a unique knowledge forum for hygiene and cleaning professionals.
The conference cycle completes an intense agenda of parallel activities at the event organized by Feria Valencia, complementing the trade exhibition. These include the thematic areas “Green Line”, with environmentally friendly products and solutions; the “Red Line” area, featuring innovative selected products; and the “Shine Line” area, showcasing floor crystallization demonstrations.
In addition, this year Hygienalia introduces for the second consecutive edition the “Robot Line”, a new specialized area focused on innovations and demonstrations of industrial cleaning robots.
