The Shows promoted by the Spanish National Cleaning and Hygiene Products Association (ASFEL), and the Italian National Association of Manufacturers of Professional Cleaning Machinery, Products and Accessories (AFIDAMP), join forces to cover the sector’s needs more efficiently.
The purpose of this merge consists in converting this event into a reference event for this sector in the Iberian Peninsula, thus reinforcing the cross-sectional nature of the event from both the exhibition offer and the visiting professionals viewpoints.
Barcelona, March 2011.- For the purpose of organizing the largest event in the sector, Hygienalia and Pulire have decided to merge to organize a single biennial event in order to cover the whole cleaning and professional hygiene sector in the Iberian Peninsula.
HYGIENALIA+PULIRE, the Cleaning and Professional Hygiene Trade Fair, is promoted by ASFEL, the Spanish National Cleaning and Hygiene Manufacturers Association, and is organized by Feria Valencia, Reed Exhibitions and the Italian AFIDAMP.
This trade fair will take place at Feria Valencia from 31st January to 2nd February 2012 for the purpose of adapting to the sector’s requests. The vast majority of companies that support both projects have shown they are willing to continue to promote this show.
Spain’s professional cleaning sector’s strategic and economic value render the organization of a specific trade fair necessary in this domain. Besides, Hygienalia+Pulire will be an innovative trade fair organized by the sector for the sector. Finally, its purpose is to place maximum importance on exhibitors’ and professional visitors’ interests.

ASFEL
The National Association of Spanish Cleaning and Hygiene Product Manufacturers (www.asfel.com) is an association recognised and supported by ICEX (Spanish acronym for Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade) as the industry association for the cleaning and hygiene sector in Spain. This sector encompasses both domestic and industrial channels, with all of their respective sub-sectors, such as chemical products, textiles, tools, accessories, machinery, etc.
Its main aim is to promote domestic products in international markets by participating in promotional activities such as trade shows, missions and information stands. These activities are a response to the Sector Plan designed specifically for the sector, which enjoys the economic and institutional support of ICEX.
